Are you fluent in Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, or Hindi? Volunteers are being sought for a research study that will investigate how multilingual people make choices about what language they use on Facebook. This study will be looking at language patterns of multilingual Facebook users, as well as how they use Facebook to connect with friends.
Volunteers are needed to participate in either a personal interview or a focus group. The personal interview will last about 45 minutes and occur at the IX Lab at the UT School of Information. Participation in the focus group will last approximately 60 minutes and occur one of several days on the fifth floor at the UT School of Information. Conversations may be recorded, with participant permission.
