A reception to honor international students graduating from the university this spring and summer was held on Wednesday, May 15 in the Texas Union. The University of Texas at Austin enrolls an estimated 5,000 international students each year. These students represent approximately 120 countries, and come to The University to pursue degrees in a variety of disciplines. The University of Texas at Austin is ranked 14th in international student enrollment, and each year awards degrees to approximately 600 international students.
The reception honored these students for their achievements over the duration of their respective degree programs and recognize the unique contributions that they have brought to the university.
