On October 2, ISSS held another Scholar Social Hour event at Cuatros. This monthly social event occurs the first Wednesday of every month. Our October event was attended by forty-three scholars — our highest turnout yet! The crowd consisted of new scholars who had just arrived at the University of Texas at Austin, and scholars who regularly attend Scholar Social Hour. International researchers and faculty discussed their research, activities in Austin, and current events over chips and salsa.
The next Scholar Social Hour will be at Cuatros (1004 W 24th Street, Austin, TX 78705) on Wednesday, November 6 from 5:30–7 pm. We hope to see you there!
