Student Discounts Around Austin

Did you know there are a lot of benefits of UT Austin ID card? On- and off-campus vendors often offer student discounts when you present your ID card when making a purchase.

CapMetro

Ride the city buses and MetroRail in Austin for free with your UT student ID card. Just swipe your card when you get on the bus and get around the city with ease.

Bevo Bucks

Load money on to your Bevo Bucks account and then swipe your student ID card to make purchases at participating retailers around town. No cash or credit card needed! Some stores even offer discounts when you pay with Bevo Bucks.

Campus Computer Store

Students, faculty, and staff can buy discounted computers, software, accessories, and other electronics at the Campus Computer Store, located on the first floor of the Flawn Academic Center (FAC). You could order a customized computer, up to 30 percent off the retail price, with proof of your student status.

Retail Discounts

Use your student ID to get discounts at restaurants, copy shops, clothing stores, auto shops, and other retailers around Austin. Many times a store will have a sign in its window if it offers a student discount, but sometimes if you just ask, you will be surprised to find out they have special deals for students.
