ISSS is now accepting applications for the Good Neighbor Scholarship (GNS)! The GNS provides one year of tuition (fall, spring, and summer) to students who were born in and are residents of a nation in the Western Hemisphere (excluding Cuba and the U.S.). You must be accepted to The University of Texas at Austin to apply, but incoming students are eligible to apply for this award. In addition, please note that in order for your GNS application to be complete, you must submit both the GNS Cover Sheet and GNS Application. A full list of eligibility requirements can be found on these documents.
Applications for the 2014-2015 academic year must be received by ISSS no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, February 21.
Award decisions will be made by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in early May 2014. The announcement of award recipients will be made in mid-May 2014.
