Texas Excursion: Six Flags Fiesta Texas – Holiday in the Park

Holiday in the ParkNeed a small break after end of the semester tests and before you start preparing for finals? Want to experience the holiday cheer with friends and other international students and scholars? Then join us on an excursion to Six Flags Fiesta Texas – Holiday in the Park on Saturday, December 6th from 1:30 pm to 12 am!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas located in San Antonio has over 49 rides, but between November 28th and January 4th the park transforms into a winter a winter wonderland to celebrate the Holidays. Come enjoy the usual thrilling rides and tasty treats along with special holiday entertainment, including thousands of colorful lights, carolers performing classic yuletide favorites, and personalized meet-and-greets with Santa and his helpers! The park will open in the afternoon and be open until late at night so people can enjoy the light decorations and get into the holiday mood! Don’t miss a chance to see snow—in Texas!

The cost of the trip is $80 and includes transportation, admission to the park, and snacks. Uninsured participants will have to purchase insurance for $5, but if you are an international student or scholar you don’t have to worry about paying extra for insurance.

If you are interested in joining us, visit the International Office Online store to purchase your seat. Seats are available on a first come, first serve basis. Purchase yours before they run out!
