Here’s what a participant has to say about the Friendship Program:
“I would like to thank the ISSS for offering the Friendship Program. I joined to learn about the customs of a new country and was matched with the Flores family. Johnny and Nelly have been accommodating and hospitable. I was delighted to be invited to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with them. Those memories and our discussions about travels and life in the country are the ones I cherish the most. I also enjoyed meeting their son and daughter-in-law and not to forget TJ – their adorable dog who does not like horses! I hope my association with the family continues. Looking at life from a different perspective has broadened me as a person, and this would not have been possible without this wonderful program!” -Saurav
