Reciprocal exchange students come from partner universities around the world and stay at UT Austin for one or two semesters. This fall we have about 400 exchange students who are enthusiastically studying at UT and exploring Austin.
The fall 2016 exchange student cohort has already given back to the community by volunteering at Micah 6 Food Pantry, an organization that feeds homeless and impoverished individuals in the UT area.
Exchange students also met up last week for an informal get-together at Lucky Labs Coffee Co. on Guadalupe Street. The Exchange Student Coffee Hours are a great way for exchange students to meet up and compare experiences during their stay at UT. The International Office will host two more Exchange Student Coffee hours on October 19 and November 16. All exchange students are welcome to attend and coffee is provided by the International Office.
