With the semester in full swing, it’ll soon be time to take a little break from your studies and let your mind rejuvenate with a scenic hike and exploring one of Texas’s small towns in the hill country. On Saturday, September 24th, join International Student & Scholar Services as we trek westward to explore the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area and the charming little town of Fredericksburg!
Our first top will be the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area (SNA), featuring a massive pink granite dome rising above Central Texas that has drawn people for thousands of years. But there’s more than just the dome–the scenery, rock formations and legends are magical, too!
In the afternoon, we’ll wander over to Fredericksburg, a quaint town in the heart of Hill Country settled by German immigrants in the 1840s. Enjoy lunch and explore the little shops around town. Fredericksburg’s charm makes for the perfect fall escape.
The trip takes place Saturday, September 24th from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The $55 price includes transportation, admission to Enchanted Rock SNA, and snacks throughout the trip. Purchase your ticket at the International Office Online Store today!
