Central American Student Association (CASA)
OFFICIAL KICK-OFF EVENT
When: October 13 at 7 pm
Where: The Utopia Theater at the School of Social Work
Description: Kick off event of CASA’s first year as an organization at UT, where the Dean of the School of Social Work, Dr. Luis Zayaz officially will present the Central American Student Association at UT (CASA).
Chinese Students and Scholars Association
Annual event “If You Are The One”
When: November 11
Description of event: Based on a popular Chinese speed dating show. However, our aim is to promote students to express themselves and know each other better.
Japanese Association
Sports Day
When: October 8, 2016 at 11 am
Where: LBJ Lawn
Description: A day of Japanese-style sports. In Japan, schools often hold sports festivals with games and athletic activities that are not commonly seen in America. Join JA as we incorporate this into our sports event, including a donut eating race. Afterwards, we will eat lunch at Victory Pizza from 1-2 pm
