Programs Offered by the Graduate Student Development Program in the Faculty Innovation Center
ITA/UTA Connect Program
The ITA/UTA Connect program pairs senior UT undergraduate students with international teaching assistants (ITAs) to help ITAs gain knowledge about the undergraduate experience at UT. The participants in this selective program meet during the Spring 2017 semester to gain first-hand exposure to facets of undergraduate life such as undergraduate advising, residence hall life, and extracurricular activities. In addition, ITAs will receive feedback on practice teaching from UTAs and pedagogy experts.

Dear ISSS team,
I won’t be able to go to any of the workshops and am not TAing this semester so there is no point in applying for the ITA/UTA connect program, but would still be interested if there were some written resources specifically tailored to international TA’s I could read at my leisure.
Best,
Rustam Antia-Riedel
