Graduate Student Assistant for International Orientation Programs
ISSS is looking for a GA to assist with the coordination of International Student Orientation events, International Briefing & Check-In (IBC), and ongoing student programming. Events include, International Student Orientation, Welcome Weekend, Bowling & Billiards Night, to name a few. The position would also recruit and manage a team of student workers who assist seasonally with new student activities. We are looking for a graduate student who is committed to providing excellent service to students and can work well with diverse populations. Graduate Student Assistant for Exchange Student Program
This position would assist the Exchange Coordinator with inbound exchange students (international students coming to UT for one or two semesters). Tasks include administrative and organizational work as well as some communication and event planning. We are looking for a creative, tech savvy graduate student who would be interested in revamping exchange student processes and building a communication plan for new exchange students.
Graduate Student Web & Publications Support
This position provides experience managing a large website, writing for the web, refining content strategy, and organizing complex information for clarity and accessibility.
Details and Compensation:
Pay: $12 per hour (Not benefits eligible)
Appointment: 15-19 hours per week during academic year
Working hours: Weekdays 8 am – 5 pm (exact schedule can be worked out with supervisor)
