Explore more of Texas in San Antonio! We’ll start off the day by going back to the 1700s and experiencing what life was like at Mission San Jose, the largest mission in this area. Learn about the rich history behind this Spanish community and how it was an important symbol to the Texas frontier. The afternoon is yours to check out The Alamo, Texas’s most visited landmark, and stroll the famous River Walk to check out local cafes, restaurants, and artisan shops. There is additional shopping downtown as well as an IMAX theater if you want to catch a movie!
The trip will take place Saturday, August 26 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Seat reservations are $50 and include transportation to San Antonio, access to Mission San Jose, a water bottle for the bus ride, and perhaps some new friends (priceless!).
To purchase a seat visit the International Office online store. Questions? Email us at intercultural@austin.utexas.edu.
