- All current students on SHIP are eligible to add dependents (spouse/children) to their plan. If you would like to add dependents to your plan, please complete the Dependent Enrollment form and upload using our secure uploader.
- All current students on SHIP are also eligible to add dental coverage to their plan. If you would like to add dental coverage to your plan, please complete the Dental Enrollment form and upload using our secure uploader.

A gentle reminder! Dependent (spouse/children) and dental insurance enrollments must be renewed each semester (fall, spring, and summer).
I am an international exchange student, I want to consult about the dental insurance plan. $78 cover for the whole fall semester (from 8/1 – 12/31), will it cover all the expense for dental fillings? Thanks.

For students wishing to add dental coverage to their Student Health Insurance Plan, the coverage dates for the fall are actually 9/1/2017 through 12/31/2017. Fillings are covered at 70% under the dental plan, after you have met the $75 deductible. If you have any additional questions, please email insuranceadvisor@austin.utexas.edu.
I missed the enrollment period. Can I still enroll now?

Thank you for checking with me. However, I apologize, but we can no longer accept dependent enrollment forms for this semester as the deadline has passed. However, we will be posting the new dependent enrollment form for the spring and summer semesters on our website soon.
