Texas Excursion: Barton Hill Farms

A cool breeze rustling through the leaves, pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks, and cheers at the UT football game…all these things mean one thing: fall is almost here! What’s a better way to ring in the season than taking a visit to a classic American farm? Barton Hill Farms located in Bastrop, TX has everything you need and more to get yourself in the autumn spirit. On Saturday, October 14, we invite you (and your family!) to join us on the farm. It has activities for all ages, including hayrides, mazes, painting pumpkins, and much more. Enjoy seasonal treats such as kettle corn or a meal from the food trailer El Cruz Ranch (food not included in the trip price). It’s also a great place to pick out your Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin for Halloween!

When? October 14, 10 am
Cost: $45

Admission (which includes all the activities on the farm) is included in the trip price!

Purchase your seat through the International Office website.  Please email any questions to intercultural@austin.utexas.edu.
