Spotlight: Dependents and International Wellness Fest

The International Office’s 4th Annual International Wellness Fest will be an opportunity to celebrate International Education Week and to connect students with health & wellness resources in and around campus.

Did you know that we will have some resources for your dependents (spouse and/or children) as well? Here are a few organizations that will be in attendance that can provide resources accessible to you and your dependents:

Women, Infants & Children (WIC): Visit WIC’s resource table for lactation consultant resources and giveaways, to connect with nutrition resources and assistance, and for more information about their organization!

Foundation Communities: Become better informed on the Affordable Care Act, also known as “Obamacare,” especially if you have ever considered purchasing a health insurance plan on the Marketplace. Visit Foundation Communities’ resource table to talk with one of their representatives to find out more! All Marketplace insurance plans must be checked by the Insurance Advisor before final purchase.

UT Family Wellness Clinic: Did you know that UT Nursing has a clinic located 10 minutes away from campus? Visit their resource table to find out about the medical services and extended hours they offer to the community, including you and your dependents!

We are looking forward to welcoming you and your dependents to the International Wellness Fest. Keep reading our blog to find out who else will be in attendance and how you can connect with more health and wellness resources!
