Don’t forget to mark your calendars with these important insurance deadlines in the Spring semester:
Spring & Summer Insurance Waivers
The Spring Insurance Waiver deadline is January 30th, 2018.
You can review eligibility categories, waiver periods, and required documentation on
the ISSS Insurance Waiver webpage.
Purchase or renew dependent or dental insurance for Spring
The dependent and/or dental insurance enrollment form deadline is February 28th, 2018.
Dependent or dental insurance can be added by visiting
the ISSS Student Health Insurance Plan Enrollments webpage.
Purchase Continuation Coverage
The continuation coverage enrollment form deadline is January 30th, 2018.
Students graduating in the fall semester, or planning to leave UT can purchase an extension of their Student Health Insurance Plan for up to 6 months. Note that eligible candidates have been previously covered under the Student Health Plan for at least 6 months. To purchase continuation coverage, please email the ISSS Insurance Advisor (insuranceadvisor@austin.utexas.edu) by the deadline.
