With over 250 sponsored students from over 50 countries, and through a KAUST Foundation Year Program, we have witnessed the impact that sponsored students make to the University of Texas at Austin. Our campus community is enriched through undergraduate and graduate sponsored students dedicated to having a positive impact at the university, such as Benjamin Kofi Nutor, who received one of only two awards of the 2015 Fulbright Junior Staff Development (JSD) Fellowship from Ghana to pursue a doctoral degree at the Department of Anthropology. He is an exemplary doctoral student and one of the organizers planning the 18th Annual Africa Conference. Everyone with an interest is invited to submit a proposal and participate in the conference. We encourage all students to get involved in activities that support global engagement.
