Howdy! The International Office has planned an exciting Fall Texas Excursion schedule. These experiences will get you out of Austin and exploring other parts of Texas. Saddle-up, register to save your spot on the bus, and yeehaw!
August 25: Explore San Antonio (8am-5:30pm, $50): Venture to the historical city of San Antonio to explore the San Jose Mission, The Alamo, and the famous Riverwalk!
September 29: Texas State Fair (Dallas, 9am-9pm, $75): Experience a large dose of Texas culture with rodeo, pig races, pie eating contests, dance performances, a live concert by Sevyn Streeter, and so much more. Check out the full schedule of events.
October 13: Barton Hill Farms (Bastrop, 10am-4:30pm, $50): Enjoy all the Fall activities on the farm! Pick a pumpkin, get lost in a corn maze, go on a tractor/train ride, and enjoy some live music.
October 27: Six Flags: Fiesta Texas (San Antonio, 12pm-11:45pm, $90): Hold on tight, rollercoasters and monsters ahead! Enjoy a day at the famous “Six Flags” amusement park for their annual Fright Fest series.
November TBD: International Student Night Out – San Antonio Spurs Game: Join other international students in the Central Texas area for a night of professional basketball in the AT&T arena. You don’t want to miss this authentic American sports event! (Details will be revealed soon – stay tuned!)
