Next Week at ISSS!

It’s a busy week at International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS)! We’ll be offering the following programming next week:

Tuesday 10/30: Health Insurance & Pregnancy Information Session

  • Wondering if your UT health insurance plan covers pregnancy?
  • Need help finding a doctor?
  • Wondering how to add your newborn to your insurance plan?

To help answer these questions, Texas Global will be hosting an information session on understanding how your health insurance works for prenatal care and delivery.

When: October 30,2018 at 5 pm

Where: Texas Global located at 2400 Nueces St. (across from Starbucks)

Friday 11/2: Lunch Seminar hosted by ISSS & CMHC

You’re invited to join the International Office and the Counseling & Mental Health Center for our continued lunch seminar series!

Topic: Increasing Social Confidence as an International Student

Being in a new environment can be scary and confusing. As an international student, you may find that interacting with people from various cultures is even harder to navigate. This interactive workshop will teach you social skills that you may apply in a variety of settings, which includes networking with potential employers, meeting new friends at a party, and ways to calm your nerves. This seminar will be presented by Clare Jinzhao Zhao.

When: Friday, November 2, 2018, 12 -1 pm

Where: Student Services Building (SSB G1.310) – Glenn Maloney Room
