As a way to help you reach out to your fellow international students at UT, we are launching a Facebook group exclusively for current and future international students at The University of Texas at Austin. Whether you are looking for a roommate, getting ready to come to UT and have questions about Austin, looking for the best grocery store or restaurant, or want to keep informed about upcoming events at Texas Global, this will be a great place to start.
We do have a few guidelines to maintain a safe and friendly environment that we ask all students to follow. This group is not for selling or promoting of any kind, nor do we promote hateful content of any kind.
However, here are things you can do (among others):
- Get together with other students
- Let friends know about fun events on campus
- Ask questions or express concerns
- Search for your new roommates
- Post about cool places to visit in Austin
In order to join you will be asked a few short questions, including your EID. Don’t let this deter you as it will only take a minute or less!
