Looking for scholarship opportunities? The Pan American Round Table of Austin has two new scholarships available for students from Latin America: The Jeannie Hunter Hackett Memorial Scholarship, and The Gloria Mata Pennington Scholarship.
The Jeannie Hunter Hackett Memorial Scholarship
The Jeannie Hunter Hackett Memorial Scholarship of $2,000 is awarded to an outstanding Latin American-born, undergraduate student (female or male) at the University of Texas at Austin. If you were born in Latin America, Central America or the Caribbean, you are eligible!
The Gloria Mata Pennington Scholarship
The Gloria Mata Pennington Scholarship of $2,000 is awarded to an accepted, enrolled Latina college student in any year (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) of her studies who would be the first in her family to attend college and receive a degree.
